Here’s how that works, the sociopath will over a period of time, meet your friends and decide who is best suited for your company and who is not, the sociopath will tell you that the friend (that is a threat to the sociopath and the friend who could expose the sociopath) is actually envious of you, jealous, bad and or that this friend wants to see your destruction etc., the potential victims are referred to as the friends that are in need of help and the sociopath will offer their assistance, but none the less at the end of it all your left standing with no friends other than the sociopath themselves. This can take 6 months or even up to a year.
